The Occupational Health & Safety Act of 2007’s Legal Notice 59 on Fire Reduction regulations, which call for every workplace to have trained response teams and firefighting equipment, can be complied with in part by training fire marshals. These regulations also require that all response teams be updated on their training on a regular basis.
